Pierce County Racial Equity Analysis

Pierce County, WA

The South Sound Housing Affordability Partners in partnership with the cities of Edgewood, Fife, Gig Harbor, Milton, and University Place, conducted a racial equity analysis to establish anti- displacement policies to ensure there will be no net displacement of very low, low, or moderate-income households or individuals from racial, ethnic, and religious communities that have been subject to discriminatory housing policies in the past.

Pierce County Community Needs Assessment

The purpose of the Community Needs Assessment (CNA) is to gain a comprehensive understanding of the needs of the community directly from its members. By gathering perspectives and insights, the goal is to enhance the ability to serve the community in the most effective and impactful manner. The CNA is conducted every three years and is designed to highlight gaps in services, programs, and policies in Pierce County.
