About the Event
At AHC, we understand that housing needs are connected to many other community needs, such as transportation, public health, racial/social justice, and education. For this Lunch and Learn, we are going to focus on the intersection of tree preservation/maintenance and housing policy!
We are excited to welcome Lowell from Tacoma Tree Foundation, who will explain residential tree policy, how it is directly related to housing planning and policy, and we will discuss how the two can support one another. This is especially important right now, as the Home in Tacoma packet is being discussed and finalized between now and December 2024. Join us for this exciting discussion and come prepared to ask questions and offer your thoughts!
